Our Year 7 Science students were thrilled to have Geochemistry Lecturer and AGN Data Scientist, Dr Hayden Dalton from The University of Melbourne visit them recently. During the visit, students learned about Ar-Ar geochronology and how fluids and melts have been shaping our planet's deep realms for centuries. In this episode of 91pronCast, our Head of Science, Nick Harvey, interviews Dr Hayden about his PhD research in various parts of the world. His research sheds light on the origin and evolution of kimberlites, which are the most deeply derived magmas on Earth. Dr Hayden also shares his passion for STEM education and inspiring young minds in the fascinating world of science. Tune in to hear Dr Hayden's extraordinary journey and gain a deeper appreciation for the wonders of Geoscience.
